Earthling

In my Animal Behavior class in school we have begun watching a documentary called Earthlings. It is a quite graphic documentary about animal rights, and for anyone who cares about animals it is very difficult to watch.
The title inspired me to make this picture. I like how the film is called "Earthlings" because it shows that humans and animals alike inhabit and share the Earth. We are all living, breathing creatures capable of feeling pain and happiness. Humans are animals too, and as the film said, we are all just different 'nations'. We are all Earthlings, and torturing any animal for any reason is as wrong as torturing a human.
So yeah, that was my inspiration for this picture.
